Steven C. Adams is the founder of the Six Pack Companies and has served as Chief Executive Officer since their incorporation in 1999. He also directly manages day-to-day operations of SCA Designs, BrainWorks, and Del Mar BeachNet as President of each company. Mr. Adams previously served as President of Adams Enterprises Incorporated (AEI) - the predecessor to the Six Pack Companies - beginning in 1996 and as President of both SCA Designs and BrainWorks prior to the 1996 formation of AEI.
Mr. Adams has a long history of business success in Southern California. As Regional Sales Manager for Southern California at Wind River Systems, he built a highly effective sales force and expanded local revenue by 600% from 1991 to 1994, while greatly increasing customer satisfaction. At the same time, Mr. Adams grew SCA Designs from a part-time experiment with two employees to a burgeoning enterprise employing 22 people in the United States and Mexico and grossing over $800,000 per year.
Prior to his tenure at Wind River Systems, Mr. Adams worked as a session musician in Los Angeles. Still a talented bass player, he performs with a group of employees - billed as the Six Pack Band - at every annual employee meeting. Mr. Adams also spent four years as a professional baseball player in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. He pitched for the Dodgers' minor league affiliates in Florida, San Antonio, and Albuquerque until an arm injury forced him to retire in 1987.
Mr. Adams was born and raised near Schenectady, NY and relocated to Rialto, CA as a teenager, where he graduated from Eisenhower High School. He is presently divorced and resides in La Jolla, CA. | |
