| Description: | Responsible for Java and J2EE development with limited maintenance to Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft SQL Server applications. Expected to support rapid application development in both on-site and off-site settings. Requires extensive customer contact as well as reports and project planning to meet customer requirements. Most work will be completed on a customer site, some work can be performed at the Interweb Illinois offices or at a home office in the Chicagoland area. Position will consist of a series of engagements generally lasting 60 - 90 days and will include travel in the Chicagoland area. |
| Requirements: | B.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent. 3+ years of programming experience (at least 1 year in Java or J2EE). Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team, strong communication skills. Requires the ability to recognize software problems and develop creative solutions for simple to complex projects. Ability to manage multiple tasks and apply corrective actions within a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the Rational Unified Process is desirable. |
